Do You Know Jesus?
Do you know who Jesus Christ is? More importantly, do you know Jesus Christ personally? Is Jesus Christ making a difference in your life?

Sometimes in the routine of living we begin to take things for granted. We think we know who Jesus is. We may have heard about Jesus in church or from a friend or neighbor. But who is this Jesus?

Who Is Jesus?
The name of Jesus comes from the Greek for "Joshua," which means "God is salvation." We gain some added insight about the name of Jesus in the account of His birth to Mary: "She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21) Simply put, Jesus is the Savior. He is "God with us." (Matthew 1:23) He is the "Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!" (John 1:29)

The Bible also tells us that Jesus is our only sure and lasting refuge for hope, peace and comfort. Because of sin, every one of us has been separated from God who is absolutely holy. Stress, hopelessness, emotional and spiritual pain overwhelm us. We do not know where to turn. Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

The Difference Jesus Makes
Jesus Christ can make the difference in your life. He can give you the rest you have been yearning for. He is the giver of comfort, peace and a hope that is eternal. All you need to do is to get to know Him personally. For more on how to do this, contact Pastor John Cervone.
