MOPS
Mothers of Preschoolers

MOPS is an international organization that stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. Our local group is a group offering hope, encouragement, community, and mothering support to mothers of children from birth through Kindergarten.

What to Expect:

A MOPS meeting includes godly encouragement, Biblical instruction, and practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations and videos on a variety of topics including: motherhood, marriage, parenting, and children. Plus, there's usually coffee and food... warm coffee and food you didn't have to make! But more important, you'll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood. You are placed into a smaller group within our meetings, with a Mentor Mom for wisdom and support, and a table full of familiar, friendly faces you can join each meeting for discussion and fun. Childcare is also freely provided!

We also love to get together between meetings! Our group plans monthly play-dates and mom’s nights out as a way to help our moms and kids connect more deeply with each other.

Who:

If you are a mom with a child birth through kindergarten, we have a place for you! Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together in Jesus’ name.

When and Where:

Come join local moms on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (September – May) from 9:30 – 11:30am at Stow Alliance Fellowship in room 230.

For the Kids:

The MOPS KIDS program is a preschool-style experience your kiddos will love. We have wonderful, caring, talented childcare workers who work hard to provide games, crafts, stories and snacks for our children.
