Have you ever wondered, "Is there more to life than this?"  More to life than working every day?  More to life than just having fun expereinces? More to life than....  Well, if you have, you're in the right place to explore that question.

Alpha is an eleven-week opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed environment with other individuals who are also exploring Christianity. Each week a different topic is presented in an informal and friendly atmosphere where you may ask questions or just sit and listen.

Discussion topics that will be covered over the length of the course:

1. Who is Jesus?
2. Why did Jesus die?
3. How can we have faith?
4. Why and how do I pray?
5. Why and how should I read the Bible?
6. How does God guide us?
7. Who is the Holy Spirit?
8. What does the Holy Spirit do?
9. How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit
10. How can I resist evil?
11. What and how should I tell others?
12. Does God heal today?
13. What about church?

 

 

What Happens

Each Alpha meeting begins with a meal. Many individuals attend the course right after work, so bring your appetite, don’t worry about dinner, and enjoy our hospitality. After dinner there is a presentation on a topic about the Christian faith. After the presentation, individuals are given an opportunity to have informal discussion in small groups and share what they thought about the presentation.

How Much?

FREE! The only thing it requires is an investment of your time. Meals are available at no charge. Should you desire the opportunity to contribute a small donation to offset the meal costs, a basket is available for you to do so.
